A lovely summer weekend, my new array of equipment to replace all the electronics fails of the week before, a hotel in Sheffield, and promoters that cannot be matched for their hosting prowess. All of this leads to smiles, and dancing. But the free hotel rooms, dinner, beer, absynthe, massages (yep), weed, poppers, oh lord, oh lord, started to take it’s toll on us poor peeps.
We spent much of yesterday plucking up the courage and the ballast to manoeuvre home accross Snake Pass, which, I must say, in the hazy Summer sunshine, was a high contender for most beautiful countryside EVER award.
It’s nice to be back in action after synthesiser fails, and now I have backups and solutions I can sleep a lot better at night. Brighton this weekend, should be a ball…
