Okay so swine flu was funny when it was first in the news, then it became boring, and now that I’m ill it’s irritating. I feel like I’ve missed the zeitgeist a little bit, and really should have caught it a month or so a go when it was real cool.

In recovery mode, I’ve been sorting out the new website so that it is spangly and magical. We’ve been filming Lorien’s very own television show, Cookery Corner, where you can learn how to make Manchester’s best recipes for you and your friends, and setting up our full on, real, actual, shop store for you to buy Cds, vinyls, teeshirts and shit.

Before all this we were on secret location filming a television show. Here is a picture of Lorien and Ben swimming rather awkwardly in a very shallow lake on a mystery island. The bed was rather rocky and smoogy on the feet, apparently. I wouldn’t know as ‘nature bathing’ isn’t really for me. I don’t really even go swimming when playing the Sims 3.

We recorded two new songs for the TV show (I got to wear sequins), and the pilot should be ready in October, which we’re very excited about. Details can’t really be explained up front (did I mention MYSTERY?) One last thing to mention, photocomics entitled “BAND PRACTICE COMICS” will be here soon too, just need to get filming them, which shall be next week.
